Barbara Patrick is a local artist who has studied Fine Arts at St. Lawrence College, Brockville, and has taken a variety of art workshops from local artists. Barbara experiments with a variety of mediums, including acrylics, watercolour, alcohol inks, altered papers, collage and mixed media. Her unique interpretations of flowers, forests, landscapes, figures and animals use bold colours and textures, and her painting style is intuitive and impressionistic. She is also a certified Paverpol instructor.

Barbara has been the Coordinator of the Corridor Art Gallery at the Brockville General Hospital since 2016, and manages the group of twenty artists whose works are displayed and sold at the BGH. 20 percent of all sales is donated to the BGH Volunteer Fundraising Association.
