We had a wonderful two days doing an Abstract Landscape workshop with Debra Krakow. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and really enjoyed the new ideas and the company, but two days of intensive painting takes a lot of stamina! Early to bed tonight!

What a beautiful day, and what a wonderful view from Pat's deck. In the photos, it might look as if we did nothing but chat, but we all got down to work and some lovely paintings were created. Looking forward to the June session... (Click on the first image for a slide show. I didn't really take photos without heads!) Last Thursday, some TIFAA members enjoyed an alcohol ink workshop with Pat Markovich. Here's photos of some of the participants and their colourful work.
Many TIFAA members enjoyed a lovely paint in today at the Mallorytown Community Centre. Mike and Sheila joined too in the afternoon, but I forgot to take more photos! Sorry.
TIFAA members Sian Tucker, Betty Matthews and Martha Stroud participated in the Before the Rush Show at the Firehall Theatre in Gananoque on December 4 and 5.
TIFAA members Pat Markovich, Barbara Patrick and Colleen O'Connell are participating! It's on today until 7 pm and tomorrow from 10 to 3 pm, at St John's United Church, 32 Park Street, Brockville.
We had a lovely Christmas lunch at the Cornwallis Pub in Rockport. The challenge this year was to match baby photos with our rather older current faces, and it was a challenge indeed. Thanks for organizing this, Alison.
The second day was even more exciting and challenging as we moved on to larger canvases. You can see us (except for Sian) with our second day paintings at the top, then Barb teaching as we worked, then Barb and her beautiful demo painting, and finally, another photo of our work.
